The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), preparation and uses thereof, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. The present invention discloses novel compounds more particularly useful for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other similar diseases, and more specifically the inventive compounds modulate (in particular, inhibit) the level of amyloid; peptide (A.beta.) exhibited by cells or tissues; A.beta. peptide is a major component of the amyloid plaques found in the brains of Alzheimer's sufferers. This invention also relates the use of these inhibitors to prevent, treat or ameliorate the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease or any Amyloid-.beta.-Peptide Related Disorder.
La présente invention a trait à des composés, à leur préparation et leurs utilisations, notamment dans l'industrie pharmaceutique. La présente invention a trait à de nouveaux composés plus particulièrement utiles pour le traitement de la maladie d'Alzheimer et d'autres maladies analogues, et de manière plus spécifique les composés de l'invention assurent la modulation (en particulier, l'inhibition) du niveau du peptide .beta.-amyloïde (A.beta.) présent dans des cellules ou des tissus; l'A.beta. est un constituant majeur de plaques amyloïde présentes dans le cerveau de personnes atteintes de la maladie d'Alzheimer. L'invention a également trait à l'utilisation de ces inhibiteurs pour la prévention, le traitement ou l'amélioration des symptômes de la maladie d'Alzheimer ou de tout trouble lié au peptide bêta-amyloïde.
