Compounds which induce degradation of mRNA which contains one or more mRNA instability sequences are provided for use as pharmaceuticals, e.g. for use in the prophylaxis or treatment of diseases and medical conditions in general having an etiology associated with the increased or prolonged stability of mRNAs which contain one or more mRNA instability sequences, and which on prolonged or inappropriate expression typically give rise to undesirable effects, e.g. cancer cell growth or an unwanted inflammatory response.

Cette invention se rapporte à des composés induisant une dégradation de l'ARNm qui contient une ou plusieurs séquences d'instabilité d'ARNm, ces composés pouvant servir d'agents pharmaceutiques, utiles notamment dans la prophylaxie ou le traitement des affections et des états pathologiques ayant de façon générale une étiologie associée à la stabilité accrue ou prolongée des ARNm qui contiennent une ou plusieurs séquences d'instabilité d'ARNm et qui, lors d'une expression prolongée ou inappropriée, engendrent généralement des effets indésirables, tels qu'une croissance des cellules cancéreuses ou une réponse inflammatoire non souhaitée.
