L'inhalateur à poudre comporte une chambre de compression d'air, un conduit communiquant avec la chambre par un orifice (53) et débouchant dans une embouchure d'inhalation, des moyens pour disposer une dose de poudre dans le conduit, et un détecteur (104) d'une aspiration créée dans l'embouchure. Il comporte en outre un obturateur mobile (70, 72) agencé pour pouvoir obturer l'orifice, et des moyens (84) pour éloigner l'obturateur par rapport à l'orifice, ces moyens étant commandés par le détecteur. Utilisation notamment pour l'administration de poudre médicinale.
