The invention relates to a compressed air throttle device comprising a throttle valve (22) adjustable by an electric motor (24) and an electric circuit (44) provided with contact components (46, 48, 50) for alternately disconnecting and switching-on the circuit according to the adjustment of the throttle valves. The inventive throttle devise is preferably used for a powder spray coating device.
