A compressed gas system has a membrane air dryer, wherein, during unloading cycle thereof, additional sweep gas is provided to the membrane air dryer inlet through a solenoid valve outlet, to prevent excess moisture from being introduced into a receiver/accumulator at the end of each unloading cycle.
