The invention relates to a compressed sheet comprising at least one woven or non-woven fabric, said fabric com-prising polymeric fibers, characterized in that the sheet has a bending modulus of at least 15 GPa when measured according to ASTM D790-07 in at least two directions and wherein one of said directions is the orientation direction of a first majority of the fibers contained by said fabric. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such compressed sheets and to articles comprising thereof.
L'invention porte sur une feuille comprimée, comprenant au moins un tissu tissé ou non tissé, ledit tissu comprenant des fibres polymères, laquelle feuille est caractérisée par a un module de flexion d'au moins 15 GPa, mesuré selon la norme ASTM D790-07, dans au moins deux directions, et l'une desdites directions étant la direction d'orientation d'une première majorité des fibres contenues par ledit tissu. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication de ces feuilles comprimées et sur des articles les comprenant.
