ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A compressor, comprising a housing comprising a plurality of disc-shaped components fastened together in axially stacked relationship and defining an internal lobe-shaped chamber, a hollow piston inside said lobe-shaped chamber and rotatable about a shaft passing through the piston and housing, a counterweight mounted on said shaft axially within said hollow piston and a casing sealingly mounted on the housing to encase the housing, the casing having s shoulder enraging one end face of the housing and a lip engaging the other end face of the housing, whereby the disc-shaped components are secured together.
