The invention concerns a computer-assisted haircutting method and device. The inventive method consists essentially in: (a) using an external data medium, such as a CD-ROM, containing the selected haircutting technique; (b) inputting in the computer the audio and video data contained in said medium and in displaying the programme step by step; (c) executing step by step the haircutting technique, lock by lock (5), by placing the scissors in the orientation and dimensional position displayed on the screen in the form of cutting lines (6). Said method can further use: a camera displaying on the screen, in overlay, the client's hair (8), the locks (5) to be grasped, the scissors and the cutting lines (6); an independent transparent screen, arranged in front of the hairdresser's eyes, whereon are displayed cutting lines (6) in overlay with the client's face and hair which he can see through the screen.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de coupe de cheveux assistée par ordinateur. Le procédé, selon l'invention, consiste essentiellement: (a) à utiliser un support d'informations externe, du type CD-ROM, contenant la technique de coupe sélectionnée; (b) à introduire dans l'ordinateur les données audio et vidéo contenues dans ledit support et à faire défiler pas à pas le programme; (c) à exécuter pas à pas la technique de coupe, mèche par mèche (5), en plaçant les ciseaux dans l'orientation et la position dimensionnelle affichée sur l'écran sous la forme de lignes de coupe (6). Le procédé en question peut utiliser en addition: une caméra visualisant sur l'écran, en superposition, la chevelure (8) du client, les mèches (5) à saisir, les ciseaux et les lignes de coupe (6); un écran transparent indépendant, placé devant les yeux du coiffeur, sur lequel s'affichent les lignes de coupe (6) en superposition avec le visage et la chevelure du client qu'il voit au travers dudit écran.
