A character good suitable for entertainment and/or educational purposes is disclosed. The character good (100) includes one or more audio (102) and/or video (104) inputs responsive to audio sensed and/or scenes observed in the character good's surrounding, to provide the character good with simulated listening and/or visual ability. The generated audio and/or video input signals are forwarded to an external computer (120) for processing. The character good further includes one or more audio (106) and/or gesture (108) responses under the control of the external computer, to provide the character good with simulated speech and/or gesture ability. The external computer exercises the control responsive to the generated audio and/or video inputs.
L'invention porte sur un matériel de caractère à but récréatif et/ou éducatif. Ce matériel (100) comprend une ou plusieurs entrées audio (102) et/ou vidéo (104) réagissant à des scènes à détection audio et/ou à des scènes observées dans l'environnement du matériel de caractère, conférant à ce dernier une capacité simulée d'écoute et/ou d'observation visuelle. Les signaux d'entrée audio et/ou vidéo produits sont envoyés à un ordinateur (120) externe pour être traités.
