A machine for shaping blanks to create a lens, the machine comprising a pair of worktables, driven by a first motor, and supporting blanks to be shaped; a drill bit unit with a rotatable drill bit; an elevator, driven by a second motor, supporting the drill bit unit and shiftable along a vertical axis; a carriage, driven by a third motor, carrying the elevator and shiftable along a horizontal axis to move the drill bit back and forth with respect to the blanks; a processor adapted to coordinate the operation of the first, second and third motors to cause the drill bit to shape the blanks to form the lenses of a desired geometry; and a user input device adapted for receiving user input based on a user's motion. The processor is adapted to calculate the geometry based on a design acquired via the user input device.
Machine permettant de réaliser des lentilles à partir d'ébauches. Cette machine comprend les organes suivants: paire de tables de travail entraînées par un premier moteur et sur lesquelles reposent les ébauches à façonner; unité de perçage avec mèche rotative; dispositif élévateur entraîné par un deuxième moteur, supportant l'unité de perçage et se déplaçant sur un axe vertical; chariot entraîné par un troisième moteur et se déplaçant sur un axe horizontal dans les deux sens et déplaçant la mèche par rapport aux ébauches; processeur conçu pour coordonner le fonctionnement des premier, deuxième et troisième moteurs et amener la mèche à façonner les ébauches et réaliser les lentilles selon la géométrie requise; et dispositif d'entrée commandé par les mouvements de l'utilisateur. Le processeur est conçu pour calculer la géométrie selon un dessin fourni par le dispositif d'entrée.
