A computer extension cable comprising: a plurality of individual cables, each individual cable having two ends and a connector at each end, the connectors for connecting a computer to a peripheral device, each individual cable comprising a plurality of conductors and surrounded by a shielding means; a unitary cable comprising the plurality of individual cables in close proximity to one another surrounded by a sheath, the sheath for preventing entanglement of the individual cables and for protecting the individual cables, the unitary cable having two ends; a strain relief at each end of the unitary cable for preventing damage to the unitary cable due to separation of the plurality of individual cables; and, an interference reducing means for reducing interference between the individual cables.
