A computer mouse having a cover plate with respective slot, a case with a control gear and a flat surface with plurality of buttons, whereby the case with a control gear and the flat surface with plurality of buttons is mechanically, electrically or optically interconnected. Different support means, such as finger stoppers for supporting one or more fingers of the user, may be secured to the surface with plurality of buttons. They allow moving the mouse on the tabletop with one or preferably with two fingers. An elongate body providing planar gripping surfaces is disposed on the surface with plurality of buttons as to create a pencil grip with the thumb, index and middle fingers. The mouse provides a compass grip, whereby the thumb is placed on the thumb-supporting surface and one of the four fingers is resting on the upper surface in stopper position. Accordingly, these features enable the user to improve finger mobility and range of finger fine control and to limit the arm and the shoulder muscle involvement.
