A mouse cord holder which holds a computer mouse cord stationary to provide an adjustable length of slack in the cord between the mouse cord holder and the mouse. The device reduces the tension on the mouse cord, which is caused by the weight of the mouse cord hanging over the back of the work station, where it typically connects to the computer, allowing for greater ease of movement of the mouse. This invention is a one piece rectangular (or trapezoidal) shaped device constructed of a flexible elastomer material. The device has a cylindrical shaped groove located on the flat surface of the top of the device, running through the centre from end to end. The mouse cord is pressed into the groove and held by a pressure fit. The device holds the mouse cord stationary by its own weight and composition.
