ABSTRACT A description is given of a computer tomography device which comprises differential amplifiers in at least a part of its detector array for forming a difference measurement value((M2-M1), (M3-M2),...) between each pair of adjacent detectors which is proportional to the difference of the non-amplified detector output signals, at least one detector of this part of being additionally connected to an amplifier which produces an absolute measurement value (M1) which is proportional to its detector output signal. The difference measurement values (M2-M1), (M3-M2), ..., are all added (one by one) to the absolute measurement value.
