The invention provides liquid compositions comprising: (a) 15 - 95 wt % lipophilic perfume, (b) 0.05 - 5 wt % water-soluble dye, (c) 4 - 50 wt % of a stabilising agent comprising a cationic stabilising agent, and (d) water miscible solvent wherein the composition comprises between 0.1 to 20 wt % water, the cationic stabilising agent has an L.alpha. to L.beta. transition temperature of 45 °C or less for a 5 wt % dispersion of the stabilising agent in water, and the solvent is present in an amount of up to 10 wt %. These concentrated perfume and dye compositions find particular application in fabric softening compositions. Also provided is a method of preparing a fabric conditioning composition by preparing a base composition comprising a cationic and/or nonionic fabric softening agent, and adding thereto, a composition of the invention. The fabric conditioning compositions thus produced are also provided. Simplified automated manufacture of fabric softening compositions is achieved.
L'invention concerne des compositions liquides renfermant: a) 15 à 95 % en poids d'un parfum lipophile, b) 0,05 à 5 % en poids d'un colorant hydrosoluble, c) 4 à 50 % en poids d'un agent stabilisateur comprenant un agent stabilisateur cationique, et d) un solvant miscible avec l'eau, ainsi que 0,1 à 20 % en poids d'eau. L'agent stabilisateur cationique présente une température de transition L alpha à L beta inférieure ou égale à 45 DEG C pour une dispersion de 5 % en poids dudit agent stabilisateur dans l'eau, le solvant étant par ailleurs présent à hauteur d'environ 10 % en poids. Ces compositions pour parfum et colorant concentrées peuvent en particulier être utilisées pour élaborer des compositions assouplissantes. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'une composition de conditionnement, ce procédé consistant tout d'abord à préparer une composition basique qui contient un agent adoucissant cationique et/ou non ionique, puis à y ajouter une composition de cette invention. L'invention concerne enfin les compositions de conditionnement ainsi obtenues, ainsi que la fabrication automatisée et simplifiée de compositions adoucissantes.
