Aqueous, mobile, concentrated, amphoteric surfactant compositions consist substantially of: 5 % to 45 % by weight water, at least 36 % to 70 % by weight of amphoteric surfactant and 5 to 45 % of a water miscible, non-surfactant organic solvent, said compositions being in the "G" or "L1" phase.
