The invention relates to an aqueous suspension of precipitation silica, characterized in that its concentration of dry material is comprised between 10 and 40 % by weight, its viscosity is lower than 4.10<-2> Pa.s for a shearing of 50 s<-1> and the quantity of silica contained in the supernatant obtained after centrifugation of said suspension at 7500 rpm during 30 minutes represents more than 50 % of the weight of silica contained in the suspension. The grain size distribution of suspended agglomerates is such that their medium diameter D50 is smaller than 5 mu m and the disagglomeration factor FD is higher than 3 ml. Said suspension may be used for producing anti-corrosion coatings, for the preparation of concretes, paper or mineral glues.
