BASF Aktiengesellschaft O.Z. 0050/41424 Condensates suitable as demulsifiers for oil-in-water emulsions Abstract of the disclosure: The present invention relates to condensates suitable as demulsifiers for oil-in-water emulsions and prepared from A) a precondensate from one or more trialkanolamines of the general formula I Image (I), in which R1 to R3 denote the same or different 1,2-alkylene groups of from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and B) from 0.1 to 30 % w/w, based on said precondensate, of one or more of the following compounds II: a) urea or a urea derivative of the general formula IIa Image (IIa), b) a urea derivative of the general formula IIb Image (IIb), c) a urethane of the general formula IIc Image (IIc), BASF Aktiengesellschaft 2 O.Z. 0050/41424 and/or d) a urethane of the general formula IId Image (IId), in which R1 is hydrogen, C1-C20-alkyl or C2-C20-alkenyl, R2 and R3 are the same or different and denote hydrogen or C1-C4- alkyl, R4 is C1-C4-alkyl and R5 is C1-C12-alkylene.
