ABSTRACT Certain ether amines and their derivatives are useful to improve the recovery of clean coal in a froth flotation process. The presence of these ether amines and derivatives in the flotation medium is par- ticularly effective to enhance the recovery of oxidized bituminous coal. The ether amines normally effect a higher percent coal recovery than conditions used pre- viously.
