Disclosed is a conditioning composition comprising by weight: (a) from about 0.01% to about 5% of a cationic crosslinked thickening polymer; (b) from about 0.1% to about 10% of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of a nonionic surfactant, a cationic surfactant, and mixtures thereof; and (c) an aqueous carrier; and wherein the composition is substantially free of a water- insoluble high melting point oily compound. The conditioning composition of the present invention has a suitable rheology for conditioning compositions, and provides conditioning benefits. The composition is especially suitable for hair care products such as hair conditioning products for rinse-off use.
L'invention concerne une composition d'après-shampooing contenant en poids: (a) environ 0,01 % à environ 5 % d'un polymère cationique réticulé épaississant; (b) environ 0,1 % à environ 10 % d'un tensioactif choisi dans le groupe contenant un tensioactif non ionique, un tensioactif cationique et des mélanges de ceux-ci; et (c) un excipient aqueux; la composition étant sensiblement exempte de composé huileux non soluble dans l'eau à point de fusion élevé. La composition d'après-shampooing de la présente invention présente une rhéologie appropriée pour des compositions d'après-shampooing et elle procure des avantages capillaires d'après-shampooing. La composition est particulièrement adaptée à des produits de soin capillaire tels que des produits d'après-shampooing capillaires utilisés au rinçage.
