Disclosed are aqueous conditioning shampoo compositions comprising an anionic detersive surfactant component; an organic, cationic, hair conditioning polymer; and from about 0.01 % to about 1.0 % by weight of a water insoluble, synthetic ester having a viscosity of from about 1 to about 300 centipoise, and which conforms to either of formulaes (I) and (II) wherein R1 is an alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxyalkyl or hydroxyalkenyl group, having from 7 to 9 carbon atoms; n is a positive integer having a value of from 2 to 4; R2 is an alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxyalkyl or hydroxyalkenyl group, having from 8 to 10 carbon atoms; and Y is an alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxy or carboxy substituted alkyl or alkenyl, having from about 2 to about 20 carbon atoms; and an organic, water insoluble, conditioning oil having a viscosity of from about 1 to about 300 centipoise, selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils, fatty esters other than the above synthetic esters, and combinations thereof. The organic conditioning oil is preferably a polyolefin. The shampoo compositions provide improved hair conditioning performance, and eliminates or minimizes the slimy, excessively conditioned, wet hair feel often associated with the use of cationic hair conditioning polymers.
L'invention porte sur des compositions aqueuses pour shampooing traitant comprenant un composant tensioactif anionique détersif, un polymère organique cationique pour la mise en forme du cheveu ainsi que d'environ 0,1 à environ 1,0 % en poids d'un ester synthétique insoluble à l'eau, d'une viscosité comprise entre environ 1 et environ 300 centipoises et répondant à l'une des formules suivantes (I) et (II). Dans ces formules, R?1¿ représente un groupe alkyle, alcényle, hydroxyalkyle ou hydroxyalcényle comportant de 7 à 9 atomes de carbone, n représente un nombre entier positif d'une valeur comprise entre 2 et 4, R?2¿ représente un groupe alkyle, alcényle, hydroxyalkyle ou hydroxyalcényle comportant de 8 à 10 atomes de carbone et Y représente un alkyle, un alcényle ou un alkyle ou un alcényle à substitution hydroxy ou carboxy, comportant d'environ 2 à environ 20 atomes de carbone. Ces compositions comportent également une huile de mise en forme du cheveu, organique et insoluble à l'eau, d'une viscosité comprise entre environ 1 et environ 300 centipoises, choisie dans le groupe constitué par des huiles hydrocarbonées, des esters gras autres que les esters synthétiques susmentionnés et par leurs combinaisons. L'huile organique de mise en forme est, de préférence, une polyoléfine. Ces compositions pour shampooing, qui possèdent des qualités améliorées de mise en forme du cheveu, éliminent ou minimisent la sensation de poisseux et d'humidité comme l'impression de conditionnement excessif que donnent souvent les cheveux après l'utilisation de shampooing comportant des polymères cationiques de mise en forme du cheveu.
