ABSTRACT A heat recoverable conductive polymeric composition compri- ses a particular selection of carbon black or a mixture of carbon blacks in a polymer. The carbon black(s) has a sur- face area A or mean surface area ? in the range 40-400 m2g-1, and a DPBA/particle size (D/S) ratio or mean ratio (?/?) in the range 2.5 - 10. The composition has advantageous electrical properties. These properties advantageously allow it to be used in articles which are electroded longitudinally.
