An improvement to the flexible conduit arrangement that is used in interconnected tank car systems, that will reduce the fluid flow pressure drop by a significant margin so as to reduce capital and operational costs and also improve on both loading and unloading terminal times and increase railcar equipment utilisation factors commensurately.The improvement can be retrofitted to existing interconnected tank car strings without cutting or welding operations and will be in accordance with AAR Rules of Interchange.
