ABSTRACT A conduit assembly for the reception of cables is made of four extruded plastic tubes of octagonal outer cross-section which are connected by integral, flexible spacing webs and folded to form a tube bundle which is symmetric to two orthogonal axes. The spacing webs are positioned on the plastic tubes such that, in a tube bundle, the respectively adjacent surfaces of the plastic tubes of octagonal cross-section are in direct contact with each other. A central chamber is formed when the conduit assembly is folded to form a tube bundle. Such a cable conduit assembly provides high stability combined with low production and material cost, yet allows the installation of the folded assembly along a non-linear path. PAT 15237-1
