This invention is a universal seal assembly including a universal seal molding (21), including a generally conical instrument guide (25) defining an instrument port (27), having a nonuniform surface for reducing instrument drag, and a mounting portion configured to mount the universal seal assembly to a valve door assembly (202) configured to be removably mounted to a cannula. Preferably the instrument guide (25) has radially oriented ribs (26) configured to reduce contact area between the universal seal molding (21), and an instrument being guided thereby toward the port (27). There is a bumper (25) around the periphery of the instrument guide (25). In embodiments for use with a valve door assembly (202), the mounting portion of the universal seal assembly is a flange (217) shaped for hooking into the elastomeric body of the valve door assembly (202). Another aspect of the invention is a reusable cannula, a valve door assembly (202) removably attached to the cannula, and a universal seal assembly mounted to the valve door assembly (202).
L'invention concerne un ensemble joint d'étanchéité universel comprenant un moulage de joint d'étanchéité universel (21), équipé d'un guide d'instrument généralement conique (25) définissant une entrée d'instrument (27) et ayant une surface non uniforme pour réduire la traînée de l'instrument, et équipé par ailleurs d'une partie réservée au montage, pour le montage de l'ensemble considéré sur un ensemble opercule de valve (202), lui-même conçu pour être fixé libérable sur une canule. De préférence, le guide d'instrument (25) comporte des nervures orientées radialement (26), conçues pour réduire la surface de contact entre le moulage de joint d'étanchéité universel (21). Ce guide comporte en outre un instrument qu'il guide vers l'entrée (27). Un tampon (25) se trouve sur le pourtour du guide d'instrument (25). Dans les variantes destinées à être utilisées avec un ensemble opercule de valve (202), la partie réservée au montage de l'ensemble joint d'étanchéité universel (217) se présente sous la forme d'une bride (217) conçue pour s'accrocher dans le corps élastomère de l'ensemble opercule de valve (202). Selon un autre aspect, l'invention concerne une canule réutilisable, un ensemble opercule de valve (202) fixé libérable à cette canule, et un ensemble joint d'étanchéité universel fixé à l'ensemble opercule de valve (202).
