Sparber 3 CONFERENCE CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure A conference circuit is disclosed for use in a telephone switching system to provide communi- cation among three or more subscriber stations. The subscriber stations are con- nected to a plurality of ports of the con- ference circuit via communication lines and a switching network. Amplification cir- cuitry connected to the ports provides input signal amplification to assure adequate transmission quality. A sensing circuit de- tects signals generated by subscriber station transitions and generates timed control signals to adjust the magni- tude of amplification of input signals from the subscriber stations for a predetermined period of time. Circuits which supervise the states of junctor circuits connected to the conference circuit provide for further gain control of the am- plification circuitry . Power is supplied to the conference circuit from a junctor circuit associated with one of the subscriber station connections.
