The present invention relates generally to a configurable array of probes for assaying targets within a fluid. The probes are contained within optical traps which allows for alterations in the selection and re-configuration of the quantity or quality of probes in the array. Moreover, the array is dynamic in that once configured the optical traps may allow for independent repositioning of a given optical trap and contained probe.

De façon générale, la présente invention concerne un jeu ordonné de sondes pour l'analyse de cibles à l'intérieur d'un fluide. Les sondes sont logées dans des pièges optiques qui permettent de modifier la sélection ainsi que la quantité ou la qualité desdites sondes. Par ailleurs, ce jeu ordonné est dynamique dans la mesure où il est possible de repositionner un piège optique donné et la sonde qu'il contient un fois les pièges optiques configurés.
