A system and method for confirming command or speech recognition results returned by an automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine from a command issued by an operator of a vehicle or platform, such as an aircraft or unmanned air-vehicle (UAV). The operator transmits a command signal to the ASR engine, initiated by an activation means, such as a push-button (formally known as push-to-talk or push-to-recognize). A recognition result is communicated to the user and the system awaits the confirmation for a limited period of time. During this period, in one embodiment, a low tone with high prosody is played to notify the user that the system is ready to receive the confirmation. If the user quickly presses and releases the push-button a predetermined number of times (for instance, twice to make a double-click), the result is confirmed and the ASR forwards a command signal to a system controlled thereby. Otherwise, the ASR waits for another speech command.
L'invention concerne concerne un système et un procédé permettant de confirmer une commande ou des résultats de reconnaissance vocale renvoyés par un moteur de reconnaissance vocale automatique (ASR) à partir d'une commande émise par l' utilisateur d'un véhicule ou d'une plate-forme, tel qu'un aéronef ou qu'un engin sans pilote (UAV). L'utilisateur émet un signal de commande au moteur ASR, initié par un moyen d'actionnement, tel qu'un bouton poussoir (appelé formellement bouton de microphone (PTT) ). Un résultat de reconnaissance est communiqué à l'utilisateur et le système attend la confirmation pendant une durée limitée. Pendant cette durée, dans un mode de réalisation d'invention, une tonalité faible avec une prosodie élevée est jouée afin de notifier à l'utilisateur que le système est prêt à recevoir la confirmation. Si l'utilisateur presse et relâche rapidement le bouton pressoir un nombre prédéterminé de fois (par exemple deux fois pour faire un double clic), le résultat est confirmé et l'ASR envoie un signal de commande au système commandé par ce procédé. Sinon, l'ASR attend une autre commande vocale.
