Magnetic, conformable articles (100) for use with traffic-bearing surfaces are disclosed which comprise an organic binder (4) having magnetic particles (6) distributed therein. The articles may be employed in intelligent vehicle guidance systems, and in systems to guide other mobile objects such as farm animals, pets, or visually impaired pedestrians. Methods of making the articles and methods of using the systems to control and/or guide a mobile object using the magnetic field generated from the articles are also described.
L'invention concerne des articles magnétiques conformables (100), pour des surfaces destinées à la circulation, comprenant un liant organique (4) dans lequel sont réparties des particules magnétiques (6). Ces articles peuvent être utilisés dans des systèmes intelligents pour guider des véhicules ou dans des systèmes pour guider d'autres entités mobiles telles que les animaux d'élevage, les animaux familiers et les piétons malvoyants. On décrit également des procédés de fabrication des articles en question et des procédés pour les mettre en oeuvre, permettant de contrôler les mouvements d'une entité mobile et/ou de la guider, en utilisant le champ magnétique généré par ces articles.
