ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to the immunogenic preparations of peptides derived from the circumsporozoite protein of Plasmodium falciparum and/or Plasmodium vivax, covalently coupled to carrier proteins suitable for vaccination of humans. The present invention provides means for covalently linking said peptides to carrier proteins via low molecular weight spacer molecules. The invention further provides means for preparing said peptide-protein conjugates and a vaccine derived from said conjugates.
