ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conjugate of prostaglandin or a similar compound thereto and a polysaccharide is disclosed which has utility as a physiologically active substance. The prostaglandin or similar compound is advantageously prostaglandin E1, prostaglandin E2, prostaglandin F2.alpha., prostaglandin I2, carbacycline or iloprost. The polysaccharide is advantageously pluran, amylose, amylopectin, cellulose, dextran or hydroxyethylated starch.
