ABSTRACT A process for the telomerization of a conjugated alkadiene with an alkanol is disclosed for the production of an organo-oxyalkadiene. A palladium catalyst having a phosphine or stibene ligand is employed in a substantially oxygen-free environment in the presence of a solvent for the catalyst so that the reaction products may be separated from the catalyst by distillation or solvent extraction.
