A monomer M-S has a first polymerisable moiety (M) capable of forming a conjugated polymer, and a second polymerisable moiety (S) with a double bond susceptible to addition polymerisation. Polymerisation of the M-moieties is caused, generally by electropolymerisation or chemical oxidation. Polymerisation of the S-moieties is also caused, generally by a radical mechanism, before, after or simultaneously with the M-polymerisation. Suitable monomers include N-(methacrylamidoethyl)-ani-line, N-(acrylamidoethyl)-aniline, N-(methacryloyloxyethyl)-aniline and N- (acryloyloxyethyl)-aniline.

Un monomère M-S comporte un premier groupe polymérisable (M) pouvant former un polymère conjugué, et un second groupe polymérisable (S) avec une double liaison susceptible dune polymérisation par addition. La polymérisation des groupes M est provoquée en général par une électropolymérisation ou une oxydation chimique. La polymérisation des groupes S est également provoquée en général par un mécanisme radicalaire avant, après ou en même temps que la polymérisation des groupes M. Les monomères appropriés incluent la N-(méthacrylamidoéthyl)-aniline, la N-(acrylamidoéthyl)-aniline, la N-(méthacryloyloxyéthyl)-aniline et la N-(acryloyloxyéthyl)-aniline.
