A connecting apparatus comprising at least two ports for connection to at least two ports of a container, which apparatus comprises a platform, a spring toggle joints, which are connected by a rod, a rotatable central tube and a lever, which is rotatable to compress the spring and to align the rod and the toggle joints and to tightly connect the ports of the connecting apparatus to the ports of the container in parallel at the same time. The present invention describes also the use of the connecting apparatus for a parallel supply of air and withdrawal of waste air and for a dewatering of bio- containers at the same time, which containers are used for an intense rotting and post-rotting and are particularly arranged in one plane or in two planes.
