The two bodies (1, 2) of the device comprise means for the automatic locking of their engagement, consisting of elastic tongues (6) with stop dogs (7) associated with one of them (2), a groove (4) for the engagement of the stop dogs associated with the other of them (1), and a mandrel (16) with frustoconical cam (25) for maintaining the stop dogs in the groove and connected axially by a circlip (19) to the body (2) providing with stop dogs. A manual unlocking ring (27) is mounted for axial movement on the mandrel in order to release the stop dogs from the groove in a chambering (26) of the mandrel. A nut (29) in engagement on a thread of the body (1) bearing the groove makes it possible to block the stop dogs in the groove and to immobilize the unlocking ring by clamping against the mandrel so as to prevent any unintentional, accidental or improper unlocking.
