ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A connecting element consists of an annular sleeve (6) which can be deformed outwardly by introducing a preferably hardening, free-flowing filling medium and which has at least one feed opening (10) for the filling medium. The connecting element is particularly suitable for sealing the joints between a multi-walled main pipe (1,3) and a branch pipe (2).
