ABSTRACT The connecting element is sought for connecting con- struction blocks for the erection of a wall and which com- prise, depending upon its seize, one or as most usual two, straight apertures. The connecting element consists of an inner portion with its ends extending into one aperture of the bottom block and into the aligned aperture of the upper block, and of a supporting ring with a greater diameter as the diameter of the apertures and connected to the inner portion. The supporting ring serves as spacer and support for the overlaying block. In one embodiment, the inner portion consists of ra- dially extending pane-like, T-shaped fins connected to the supporting ring, and the whole connecting element is made of PVC, in one piece, and in the same color as the blocks. This connecting element can be made in series and is thus non-expensive and replaces the complicated and expen- sive mold for forming the construction blocks with pins and collar on one side thereof and apertures on the other side thereof, all made in concrete and in one piece, and further allows a steady and stable construction.
