An assembly (10) for use in connecting optical fibres comprising a plurality of housings (12) for housing optical fibre connections. Each housing is pivotally mounted with respect to an associated rigid routing member (14) which has passages for routing fibres to the housing via respective flexible conduit means which extend between the routing member and the housing. Adjacent routing members (14) are push-fittable together such that the housings (12) are in an aligned bank when in stowed positions. Each housing (12) is pivotable from its stowed position out of alignment with the other housings for access.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble (10) s'utilisant pour connecter des fibres optiques et constitué d'une pluralité de logements (12) destinés à recevoir des connexions de fibres optiques. Par montage, chaque logement pivote par rapport à une rampe de distribution rigide associée (14) pourvue de passages permettant de distribuer les fibres vers le logement considéré, chacune via un conduit flexible disposé entre la rampe de distribution et le logement. Des rampes de distribution adjacentes (14) viennent s'emboîter de force les unes dans les autres de façon que les logements viennent s'intégrer en un bloc d'alignement une fois qu'ils sont en position de service. Pour l'accessibilité, chaque logement (12) peut être désaligné de sa position de service par pivotement.
