ABSTRACT A connecting assembly is disclosed for supply lines carrying gaseous or fluid media. The assembly includes a non-symmetrical connecting member designed as a clamping tool to embrace the inserted end of a supply line. It also includes another member joined to the connecting member by insertion and secured thereto by means of an annular quick-release lock con- sisting of a continuous annular groove in one of the members, and a contin- uous annular projection on the other of the members, these two members to- gether forming a continuous bore to constitute a passage, the connecting member being pushed over the other member.
