A connecting rod (34) for a piston compressor including a generally vertical oriented rod section (78) having a piston end and a connecting end (82). A non-through bore (30) formed in the connecting end (82) receives a pin (28) mounted eccentrically on a shaft (22), such that rotation of the shaft causes the rod section to reciprocate. A bleed hole (82, 204) formed in an inside end of the bore allows air in the bore to escape during assembly. When a lubricant is disposed in the bore, the bleed hole (84) is shaped to inhibit an excess amount of lubricant from escaping therethrough.
L'invention concerne une bielle (34) pour compression à piston comprenant une partie (78) de bielle d'une manière générale verticale pourvue d'une extrémité de piston et d'une extrémité de connexion (82). Un alésage non traversant (30) formé sur l'extrémité de connexion (82) reçoit un axe (28) monté de manière excentrique sur un arbre (22) de manière que la rotation de l'arbre amène la partie de bielle à effectuer un mouvement alternatif. Un orifice de purge (82, 204) formé dans une extrémité interne de l'alésage permet à l'air de s'échapper dudit alésage au cours de l'assemblage. Lorsqu'un lubrifiant est introduit dans cet alésage, l'orifice de purge (84) permet d'empêcher qu'une quantité excessive de lubrifiant ne s'échappe.
