ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A coupling arrangement to removably interconnect pipes in a well, below ground level. The coupling comprises a head with a lateral connecting branch intended to sealingly engage a seat formed on the water pipe leading to the pump. An actuating rod with an eccenter means thereon is rotatably mounted on said coupling head, said eccenter means arranged, when turned in one direction by the rod to displace said coupling head laterally until the connecting branch thereon engages in said seat, and when turned in the opposite direction, to effect disengagement between said seat and said connecting branch on said coupling head.
