ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A connection network for time-division multiplerx systems, in particular for PAM time-division telephone exchanges .The net- work is characterized in that it has a tree-shaped structure in which various subscribers are divided into groups. The subscribers in each group are connectable to each other through a group telepho- ne line by switching on subscriber telephone switched. The various group telephone lines are connectable to each other by switching on group telephone switches through supergroup telephone line which in turn may be connectable to a telephone line of a higher order by switching on a further switch. All the telephone lines which form the connection network are made up of coaxial lines having a low magnetic energy storing capacity. The group switches are directly incorporated in and welded to the telephone lines by means of subs- tantially few junction points. The network is further characterized in that circuits thereof which are common to a multiplicity of subs- cribers and parts adjacent to the path of speech currents are all made of non magnetic materials.
