The present invention relates to a connection system and a method for connecting and disconnecting a floating unit to and from a buoy which is connected to a subsea installation, where the buoy comprises a first connection device for connecting pipes and/or lines for transfer of fluid, control signals and/or electric power between the buoy and the floating unit. The connection system further comprises a support structure which is laterally movable relative to the floating unit and a swivel stack arrangement movably mounted on the support structure. The swivel stack arrangement comprises a second connection device for connecting to the first connection device in the buoy; shut-off devices for opening and closing at least one of the pipes and/or lines in the first and second connection devices by connecting and disconnecting the buoy; and a turret bearing for rotating the buoy relative to the floating unit.
Système et procédé de connexion destinés à connecter et à déconnecter une unité flottante à et d'une bouée reliée à une installation sous-marine, ladite bouée comportant un premier dispositif de connexion servant à connecter des canalisations et / ou des lignes destinées au transfert de fluide, des signaux de commande et / ou de l'énergie électrique entre la bouée et l'unité flottante. Le système de connexion comporte en outre une structure de support susceptible de se déplacer latéralement par rapport à l'unité flottante et un ensemble superposé pivotant monté de façon mobile sur la structure de support. L'ensemble superposé pivotant comporte un deuxième dispositif de connexion destiné à se connecter au premier dispositif de connexion de la bouée ; des dispositifs de fermeture servant à ouvrir et à fermer au moins une des canalisations et / ou des lignes des premier et deuxième dispositifs de connexion en connectant et en déconnectant la bouée ; et un palier de tourelle destiné à faire tourner la bouée par rapport à l'unité flottante.
