A connector (1) for connecting together at least two tubular members (3) includes a body (7) having tubular mouth portions, each receiving one of said tubular members. At least one of the mouth portions is provided with means for connecting the body to a tubular member, the connection means comprising sealing means (17) for sealing the body against the tubular member and securing means for preventing relative longitudinal movement between said body and said tubular member. The securing means comprise a first securing member (25) for engagement with the tubular member and being deformable between a tubular member engaging position and a position allowing said first member to be readily moved along the tubular member, and a second securing member (31) being for holding the first securing member in its tubular member engaging position. The body and first and second securing members are adapted to coact to prevent, in use, relative longitudinal movement between said first securing member and said body. A connection assembly, which includes a plurality of connectors of the invention, is also described.
L'invention concerne un raccord (1) permettant de connecter au moins deux éléments tubulaires (3). Ce raccord comporte un corps (7) pourvu de mâchoires tubulaires recevant chacune un desdits éléments tubulaires. L'une des mâchoires, au minimum, est dotée d'un organe permettant de connecter le corps à un élément tubulaire, cet organe de connexion comportant des unités de scellement (17), destinées à sceller le corps contre l'élément tubulaire, ainsi que des organes de fixation destinés à empêcher tout mouvement longitudinal relatif entre ledit corps et ledit élément tubulaire. Ces organes de fixation comportent un premier élément de fixation (25) destiné à venir au contact de l'élément tubulaire et pouvant passer d'une position dans laquelle il maintient l'élément tubulaire à une position lui permettant d'être rapidement déplacé le long de élément tubulaire; et un second élément de fixation (31) destiné à maintenir le premier élément de fixation dans sa position de fixation de l'élément tubulaire. Le corps ainsi que les premier et second éléments de fixation sont conçus pour agir parallèlement afin d'empêcher au cours de l'utilisation tout mouvement longitudinal relatif entre ledit premier élément de fixation et ledit corps. L'invention concerne également un ensemble de raccordement comportant une série de raccords selon l'invention.
