ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electrically shielded connector assembly for pulse- code modulation cables comprising contact pin pairs ex- tending through a generally rectangular electrically conductive base plate and mounted to the base plate in a pressure sealed and electrically insulated manner, electrically housings mounted to the top of the base plate and each accommodating one of the contact pin pairs, metal shielding on the housings and contact elements in the housing and coupled individually with the top ends of the contact pins. Further metal shield- ing extends generally downwardly from the bottom of the base plate to form chambers in each of which reside the bottom ends of one of the contact pin pairs and the cable is so received that conductors from the cable are con- nectable to the bottom ends of the contact pins. To provide a pressure sealed cable terminal, a metal housing is mounted on the bottom of the base plate in a pressure sealed manner to thereby enclose the chambers and the bottom ends of the contact pins.
