This is to ensure an inexpensive and reliable heat-resistant and insulating structure, clamp a bulb or fuse securely and enable automation of installation of a connector to an attaching member of a heat-resistant cylindrical holder by attaching a wedge base bulb and so forth to a non-heat- resistant member by means of the holder with good dissipation of heat. This discloses a connector attachment component used to attach an insulated holder, to which a connector is attached, to an attaching member, comprising: insulating cylinder formed into the shape of nearly square cylinder with heat-resistant plastic, and having upward facing clamping support resilient tabs projecting in opposition from both sides; a plurality of upper and lower locking tabs provided protruding from the side of this insulating cylinder; opposing pieces formed on both sides of the insulating cylinder; projections provided protruding inwardly from both inner surfaces of these opposing pieces; two connectors consisting of resilient conductor strips formed essentially into the shape of the letter "U", and respectively equipped with a pair of clamping pieces and a lead member such as a plug-in receptacle or lead wire in its base; bulb holder composed by respectively installing connectors in parallel and aligning with the direction of height of insulating cylinder between the opposing pieces by means of the projections in attachment holes formed in the base of clamping pieces of these two connectors; and, attaching member in which engaging hole is formed slightly larger than the flat contour of the insulating cylinder; wherein, the insulated bulb holder is engaged with attaching member through its engaging hole with the upper and lower locking tabs.
