A B S T R A C T A connector device for connecting two electrically conductive contact members with each other comprises two releasably connectable connector members, each of the connector members comprising one of the contact members. The connector device comprises means for sealingly enclosing the contact members in the connector members. The connector device also comprises a device for selectively establishing electrical contact between the contact members and breaking this contact after the connector members have been connected with each other.
