A connector which is suitable for connecting an elongate heater to an elongate component and which provides strain relief by gripping the heater in a manner which forces it into a serpentine configuration. The connector is particularly useful for heaters which comprise an outer insulating jacket surrounded by a metallic grounding braid. The elongate component may comprise a power lead or one or more elongate heaters.
