Having conductive contacts (4), a first insulator (1) retaining the contacts, and a cable-side insulator, attachable/detachable relative to the first insulator, for retaining a flat cable (6). The cable-side insulator includes a second insulator (2) for receiving the flat cable, a third insulator (3) disposed so as to confront the second insulator via the flat cable, and a clamp (7) interposed between the flat cable and the third insulator. When the cable-side insulator is mounted to the first insulator, the second and third insulators are engaged with the first insulator to approach each other so that the flat cable is sandwiched between the clamp and the second insulator. In this state, the flat cable is connected to the contacts.
L'invention concerne un connecteur pour un câble plat comprenant un contact conducteur (4), un premier isolateur (1) destiné à maintenir le contact, et un isolateur latéral de câble destiné à maintenir un câble plat (6), pouvant être attaché au premier isolateur et détaché de celui-ci. L'isolateur latéral de câble comprend un second isolateur (2) destiné à recevoir le câble plat, un troisième isolateur (3) disposé de manière à être tourné vers le second isolateur par l'intermédiaire du câble plat, et un organe de serrage (7) interposé entre le câble plat et le troisième isolateur. Lorsque l'isolateur latéral de câble est monté sur le premier isolateur, les second et troisième isolateurs viennent au contact du premier isolateur pour se rapprocher mutuellement et permettre ainsi que l'organe de serrage et le premier isolateur maintiennent entre eux le câble plat, de manière que le câble plat est connecté au contact tout en étant maintenu.
