CONNECTOR FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONDUCTORS INCLUDING INTEGRAL SUPPORTS FOR ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure A connector for connecting insulated telephone system conductors comprises a hollow body and a hollow cap, the cap fitting into the body. Apertures and passages in the body arrest and guide conductors into the body and the cap carries insulation displacing terminals. When the cap is pressed into the body the terminals make contact with the conductive cores of the conductors. Butt, Tap and Bridge connections can be made. The body and cap are of transparent material and flanges extend from the top of the front and back walls of the body whereby the body is carried by spaced members of a crimping tool so that the bottom wall of the body can be observed at all times and the position of the conductors monitored before and during crimping. - i -
